Celebrating 9 Years + Black Breastfeeding Week

Time flies when you're having fun! It's been NINE years since CinnaMoms started, and I must say what an incredible journey we've all been on.

This year, CinnaMoms celebrated Black Breastfeeding Week with a “Purple Couch Talk” led by Rhonda, CinnaMoms Breastfeeding Specialist, where she facilitated an interactive discussion with families to share their pregnancy, birthing, and breastfeeding experiences.

Afterward, Belen, CinnaMom's Social Media Coordinator, held a photo shoot to capture special moments for our CinnaFamilies. Feel free to check it out here.

We had a special guest, Congresswoman Sydney Kamlager-Dove, Representative for California’s 37th Congressional District, where CinnaMoms Crenshaw and Obama WIC are located. She presented special certificates for CinnaMoms Crenshaw, 14 Super CinnaMoms, and our phenomenal Breastfeeding Staff.  

Fifty-one participants joined with their families to celebrate CinnaMoms 9th Anniversary!
