Thanksgiving

This day I take to reflect;

And be thankful for every moment of my life,

For the family and friends who walked beside me

And the strangers that changed my stride.

I am thankful for all moments I’ve lived through, even the hardest,

For I would not be who I am without them all, in earnest.

I am thankful for waking every morning, being gifted another day.

May we find the strength and love that blesses us

And see the good around us, in each and every way.

With thankfulness, I am filled for another day

And for another year to come, I pray.
